I originally spotted this Carolina Hemlock Bluff from the air thanks to South Wings. A free trial of Google Earth Pro allowed me to pinpoint its location and create this high-quality image.
Geocoding is a mighty powerful tool that allows one to assign points on a map to locations in a spreadsheet or descriptions of locations from other sources. This map shows the addresses of former students of an upstate South Carolina community college.
Today we learned about editing topology and subtypes. Very cool stuff, and very powerful. I'm disappointed that I won't be able to use these features with an ArcView License! I'll have to upgrade to Editor someday.
Today we georeferenced the CAD data for AB-Tech. We used both the Georeferencing tool bar and the Spatial Adjustment tool bar. Here is a picture of the result: the CAD data is now spatially correct.
